I love people. I have as long as I can remember. I’ll sit and drill a million questions to you in a mere 5 minutes and chances are you’ll tell me everything I want to know. I’m fascinated as to what make people tick. What makes them happy. What makes them sad. What keeps them moving and what stops them.
I love to move. I’ve been told I have a ton of energy. (understatement?) There’s no question that God has wired me to be an aerobics instructor! (I’m certified in General Aerobics and Pilates and have been teaching for over 6 years.) Who else can move a hundred miles a minute with their body while keeping their mouth going just as fast? I love it. It gives me more energy than anyone will ever know.
I love my friends. Oh. My dear friends. I’m blessed with an incredible support group. The beauty of them is that their lives don’t necessarily look like mine. We share different visions, different faiths, different desires. I wouldn’t trade them for the world.
I love my family. I married my uber hot (extremely tall) man, Kory. I have met no other man like him. His integrity blows me away. He lets me be me. Not many people could handle this! I have 2 children Sam (4) and Lila (1). To say that they are blessings is a bit of an understatement. I thought that my marriage refined me, but being a mother took that refinement to a whole new level. I quit my job in corporate America to make my house a home. To invest all my focus and energy into these little humans and into my marriage and ministries.
I love my Jesus. I don’t like stuffiness. My extra pep in my step is because of a life of freedom that I live. My chains are gone. I’ve been set free. It’s not just cliché…it’s the truth. I’m as real as real can be.
Oh. And I love Cheetos and Diet Coke.
